Drama unfolded at Ladega Market, Ikorodu, Lagos, after a suspected thief reportedly got stranded on the roof of a plaza while allegedly trying to escape.
According to eyewitnesses, the suspect became stuck on the ceiling and, realizing there was no way down, began pleading with passersby to call the police to rescue him.
Meanwhile, a massive crowd gathered below, patiently waiting for him to come down, with many threatening to give him serious “wotowoto” if he landed before security officials arrived.
The unusual incident has since attracted widespread attention, with videos and photos circulating online.
Authorities are yet to release an official statement on the incident.
