‘I was shocked when I found out my wife was expecting triplets’: Lateef Adedimeji opens up on Mo Bimpe’s pregnancy and plans for another baby (Video)
Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has opened up about the pregnancy journey he shared with his wife, actress Mo Bimpe, describing it as an emotional experience after years of waiting to become parents.
Speaking in a recent interview with Morayo Afolabi Brown, the actor said he made it a priority to pamper his wife throughout the pregnancy, noting that the long wait made the experience even more special. He also praised Mo Bimpe, describing her as a strong woman.
Lateef revealed that he was shocked when he discovered they were expecting triplets, admitting that the news left him with mixed emotions.
According to him, receiving more than they had prayed for made him realise that the years of waiting were worthwhile.
Speaking on the delivery of their babies, the actor disclosed that he stayed by his wife’s side throughout the process and witnessed the birth firsthand.
He commended women for their strength, describing childbirth as no easy task.
On whether the couple plans to have more children, Lateef said everything is in God’s hands. He added that while they are grateful for their three boys, he knows Mo Bimpe would love to have a baby girl someday, leaving open the possibility of expanding their family.
He said:
“It was shocking for me; at the same time, it was a mixed feeling. When you’ve been expecting something, and then it came beyond your expectations, that means the waiting is not a bad one.
“When you’ve been up and expecting, and then it now finally happened, you will pamper her, but she’s a strong woman.
“I cannot stay back; we did it together. We are in it together; I was right there, and I saw it happen. It wasn’t an easy task. I give it up to women. Well done.
“Everything is in God’s hands because they are boys. I know my wife would love to have a female, so we can do one more round, maybe.”
