On June 16, 2025 this lady, known as Tessy, lodged in a hotel with a man in Gwarinpa, Abuja. After some hours, the man left the hotel while Tessy was still in the room. The following morning, when the cleaner wanted to clean the room, he knocked severally without any response. He then alerted the other staff who forced the door open. When they opened the door, Tessy was found lifeless with her hands tied to the back and her mouth was tied with a cloth. The staff called the police who evacuated her to the morgue after the hospital she was taken to confirmed her de*d. The FCT Police have started their investigation in order to know the identity of the man Tessy lodged with. Ladies have also been advised to exercise caution in their interactions, especially with unfamiliar individuals and to always share their whereabouts with trusted friends or family members for safety purposes….
