​📢 Protest in Kano Against US Plan ​Shi’ite group members in Kano held a protest against a rumored plan by then-President Trump to send troops into Nigeria to fight terrorists. ​They marched on major roads in Kano. They held signs and banners that rejected Trump’s statement that Christians in the area were being targeted. During the event, they dragged the American flag on the ground and did other things that showed disrespect toward America. ​It seems strange that these people would say Trump’s statement is false, since Christians have been persecuted in the northern parts of Nigeria for decades.
