Nigerian skit actress and social media content creator, Sunshine Esther, has sadly passed away at the age of 26.
She died on January 9, 2026, following complications from an emergency surgery to remove fibroids.

Esther had reportedly been battling severe stomach pains and was first taken to Orchid General Hospital, where she was given pain relief but allegedly did not receive proper treatment due to an ongoing doctors’ strike.
She was later transferred to a private facility, Havilah Hospital, where surgery was carried out. Sadly, she developed complications after the procedure and did not survive.
