“People know me as Osuofia. They láugh when they see me in movies, but many don’t know the other side of me. Growing up, I saw how póor children sûffered just to go to school. Some had no shoes, no books, and no food. I told myself, “One day, if God blesses me, I will do something.” Now, after all these years in Nollywood, I finally did it. I built a free school in Enugu — no school fees, no uniforms, nothing! Just come and learn. I named it “Osuofia Foundation Academy” because I want to give back to the same society that gave me fame.
